Are your candles natural?
Yes — 100% natural. Each candle is hand-poured by Charlotte using vegetable-based soy wax for a cleaner, longer burn — no nasties here. Soy wax comes from soybeans, a renewable and biodegradable source that’s kinder to the environment. It’s easy to wash away with warm soapy water and won’t stain. I never use synthetic fragrance oils. Instead, each candle is blended with pure essential oils — naturally sourced and chosen for their positive effects on mood and wellbeing. All wicks are made from cotton and linen, and wherever possible, I use natural, recyclable and biodegradable packaging sourced from Australian suppliers.
How long will my candle burn for?
Each 220g candle has an approximate burn time of 45+ hours, though this can vary depending on where and how it’s burned.
To get the best results, avoid placing your candle in a draughty area — flickering flames can reduce burn time.
How can I maximise the burn time of my candle?

Trim your wick to no more than 5mm before each burn.

Allow the wax to melt evenly to the edges on the first burn (around 4 hours).

After the first burn, limit each burn to a maximum of 4 hours.

Always trim the wick between burns — this helps prevent “drowning” and ensures a clean, even flame.

What will my candle look like?
Every candle is handmade, so no two are exactly alike making each one unique! Different essential oils create slight variations in colour: for example, orange oil gives a warm yellow tint, while lavender appears pale and creamy. You might notice tiny air bubbles on the surface — a natural quirk of soy wax that doesn’t affect burn time or scent. These unique characteristics are what set handmade candles apart from mass-produced alternatives.
When will my candle arrive?
Orders are usually dispatched within 5–7 working days. During busy periods, there may be a small delay — but if you need your order urgently, please reach out and I’ll do my best to help. If you’d like faster, insured or tracked shipping, this can be arranged through the contact form — delivery costs will be adjusted accordingly. To reduce waste, I don’t include paper invoices. A digital copy will be emailed instead.
Will the order be tracked?
Orders are sent via Australia Post and are not tracked unless you specifically request it. If you’d like tracking or signature on delivery, please contact me before checkout and I’ll arrange it for you.
I’ve received my candle but it’s broken!
Oh no! If your candle has been damaged during shipping, please send a photo of the item within 3 days of receiving it, and I’ll send out a replacement right away.
My candle hasn’t turned up yet...

Can I get a refund?
I hope you’ll love your candle, but if you’d like to return it, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your order.
Refunds are available for candles that haven’t been lit and are still in their original packaging.
